Is there a way to do this with the axle housing still on the car? I'm replacing the driver's side rear wheel bearing on a '90 tt. The manual seems to want you to replace the bushings at the same time. There are two the same size on the top, a larger one on the bottom where the shock connects, and a ball joint at the bottom rear. I got new parts (stock) but the arrangement I came up with using steel plumbing connectors, washers, nuts and bolts etc is not getting the job done. The manual shows a Kent-Moore special service tool arm bushing remover that I can't find anywhere. Anyone find or improvise anything that works?
